What a Friday!

When we got to Camp Granipapa, we asked if we could earn some money, so Grandma and Papa put us to work! Today, Friday, we collected more snails, picked up sticks on the side yard, vaccuumed the wood floor (we are messy), emptied the dishwasher and played laundry basketball. It's a game Grandma invented to put the dirty clothes in the washing machine. We were pretty good shots, too. And after our chores each day, we get a yummy popsicle.

We sure love the popsicles after all the hard work.
We tried to get out of this one, but we are learning to do a good and that sometimes it takes a while and not to give up. We wanted to quit right after we started, but Grandma wouldn't let us. We have to fill the bucket up. We got paid for our chores tonight and we were excited.

After chores this morning, we went to Chick Fil-A for a lunch of nuggets and fries...Mcrae's favorite. Then we went to Kohl's for dress shoes for Kyo, but we didn't find any to fit. Our reward for all those chores was an afternoon at Steel Days! There were rides, a park to play at and some fun treats to eat. Here's some pictures of us on the rides.

Mcrae is curious about this game, but he didn't play it, although a nice lady gave us a free dart to throw at some balloons.

This is Kyo playing at the Botanical gardens in Virginia, actually, but don't know how to delete it from here.
The boys driving a jeep. It went around quite a few times, but their favorite ride was the catepillar rollercoaster. They even went on a grown up ride that went around in circles. Mac loved it, but it made Kyo's stomach hurt.
Here's Kyo playing monkey at the playground.
And Mcrae being Spiderman, of course!

It was a fun day...we are doing lots of new things and going to bed tired at night for sure!!! Today, I (Kyo) told Grandma that they may be old, but they were very fun.
