Dave and the Lambert Line

On our way home from Mirror Lake in July, we stopped in Kamas, Utah. This is where Dave's ancestors settled after leaving Nauvoo. Here is a headstone of John Lambert, the first English immigrant in Dave's line. John was a polygamist and Dave descended from John's wife May Young, who is a daughter of Brigham Young.
Here's Dave standing in front of the street sign in Kamas, Utah. This Lambert Lane was named after Dave's ancestors who settled here.

I'm Out of My Cage and Off Exploring Again

Well, I'm finally healed from both breaks, and Dave and I had to get out of Dodge. We ventured up to the Uintas to do some camping overnight. We stopped at Mirror Lake and enjoyed fishing, hiking and foil dinners. We just about froze during the night. I guess we forgot how cold it gets at dark in the high mountains, we were at about 10,000 feet. The next morning we packed up and started back home. We stopped at Provo River Falls and were amazed at how pretty it was. Here's a few pics of us at the falls.
