Every thing's coming up Roses!!!!!!!

Valentine's Day in a floral shop is chaos mixed with creativity and deadlines. Here's a few pics of this holiday at Timp Valley floral. We managed to get all the orders out on time! Hooray.

Here's some of the staff, L-R Wendy, Laurene, Jill standing in front of the many orders yet to be designed. This was only a fraction of them. Vases were everywhere...as well as flowers standing in several coolers. You can bet it sure smelled wonderful!

Cutie Pies

I sampled these Cutie Pies at my sister in laws...They are easy and delicious. I thought I'd share this recipe with you.

Cutie Pies

1 package Devil's Food Cake Mix
2/3 cup crisco shortening
2 T. water
2 eggs

Mix together. Form into 1" balls and place on unbaked cookie sheet. I dipped half of these in sprinkles and then cooked them. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Frost the middles of 2 cookies with any buttercream frosting recipe.
