Sewing up a Storm
Well, it was Easter weekend and fairly cold and it's been snowing off and on today, so I went downstairs and sewed all weekend. This is what I made for my granddaughter, Brynnley.

Our Trip to Florida with Sean's Family
In March, we took the grandboys, Sean and JinHee to Florida to visit Disneyworld. What a grand time we had spoiling the kids...all of them. We discovered it's all about the hats, characters, parades, rides, and snacks!. We enjoyed all of them. And all the parks, too
MAGIC KINGDOM

For lunch one day, we had a meal with all of the Winnie the Pooh characters. Mcrae thought it was funny ...at first...
A few seconds later he wasn't so sure.
Pooh was not his favorite.
But Kyo loved every minute of it and even joined in on the parade. The food was great and we let the kids eat just about anything they wanted. Orange soda included.
Grandma and Papa got into the spirit and had a pic taken with Eeyore.
JinHee had to get a pic of piglet.
That evening at the Magic Kingdom we enjoyed the light parade. The kids were mezmerised, but tired of standing, so we held them quite a bit.

Donald Duck
After several day of park hopping Mcrae was exhausted. Here he is at the hotel during the afternoon for a well needed nap. He fell asleep on the bus.
We stayed at the Carribbean Beach Resort. Here's a pic of our room. Scenery and activities were great, but the bus ride to the parks each day were a little long.

ANIMAL KINGDOM
One of the attractions at Animal Kingdom is a live animal safari. We saw several rare black rhinos.
...giraffes,
elephants...
warthogs...
Timon....meerkats...
gorillas, and several kinds of animals. The kids loved it.

later in the afternoon we went inside to watch the Nemo Production...it was very good and so colorful.
Kyo loved this park and especially the chocolate cake!
EPCOT

While the big kids went on Test Drive, I stayed behind and let Mcrae play at a kiddie park within Epcot. He had just as much fun as anyone.

Falls and Caves
On my trip to Houston, Paula, Pat and I ventured outside of the Austin area to Pedernales Falls and Sonora Caves. Here we are at the end of the falls.
Just us goofing around. I put the camera on time and literally fell on top of both of them.
Why does it always rain or snow when I go somewhere? Here's a few of the texas angus on our way to the caves.
Inside of Sonora Caves. It was warm and crystal formations were everywhere.
This cave housed one of the rarest formations found in caves...helectites. Here's a picture of a few. They are crystals that grow out sideways.
The things you'll find in Houston
A few weeks ago I went to Houston to visit old friends. By old I mean I have known them a while, not their age! One day we decided to scout the city to find some outrageous sites. It's amazing the things that people call art.
This is a giant freak armadillo made of mirrors and also sporting longhorns. Sometimes smoke comes out of the nostrils. This artist had too much time on his hands!
In front of a night club called the Horn, we found this giant saxophone made from car parts. This was more creative, but you would have to have quite a set of lungs to make any music from this.
The most intriguing piece of "ART" was the Beer Can House. This guy literally drank all this beer and covered the outside and backyard of his house with beer cans!!!!!!!! This man too much time and wayyyyyyyyyyy to much beer. Needless to say, he died fairly young. I must say it was creative for doing his part to recycle!

Crae's Engaged!!!!
Well, after 30 years of bachelorhood, Crae has finally decided to tie the knot. The beauty that won his heart is Lachelle Jacobsen. They have set the date of May 1 in a small ceremony of family and close friends. We are excited for them both!!
